Easter Fun

Easter Saturday was a sunny 70 degree day, in Michigan. The smell of spring was in the air. That could have been the neighbors cleaning barns though.

We had to be back to Royal Oak for Easter Sunday, so we celebrated a day early with John, Missy and Isabel. The Easter Bunny hid 37, fun filled, eggs on the front lawn. To Isabel's delight. Conner slept through the fun. Sorry buddy, next year!

A quick Target run. HMM..... time to rent ears though.

Isabel found all the eggs!

Beema and John taking it all in.

Checking out the loot.

Pajama Reading Night

Conner's first school event. The PTA sponsors pajama reading night each year. The children come in their pajamas, listen to stories and have milk and cookies. I got roped into reading first. The warm up act with a rousing rendition of Click Clack Moo, Cows That Type. My little friend is Nick. He wants to name his baby sister (coming in July) Ms. Bonnie. Sweet and smart, too.

Conner got in a little nap before the fun decked out, robe and all.

I'm Back

No, really I haven't gone anywhere new. Just crazy busy. This week is a nice break. We are on spring break. No Florida this year. Boo hoo, it is killing me. It was hard to see Debbie off and not be going, too. Beema has been here since Saturday. She leaves for Texas tomorrow. She and Aunt Angie are staying with my cousin Rick for two weeks. It's weird. There have been lots of times that I haven't seen her for a longer stretch, than two weeks, but I already miss her.

Conner is already 31/2 months old. Time is speeding by. He amazes me everyday. He is sleeping between 10-12 hours a night. Yes you read that right. He only cat naps for 20 minutes or so sporadically during the day. He totally doesn't want to miss a thing. He is a happy guy and so excited to see people, he lights up when people talk to him. He seems to smile with his whole body. Can you tell we adore him?

He is able to hold his head up for longer periods of time. Now I have to stop calling him Bob. (Bobble Head). He is still drooling a ton. We are waiting and watching for the bump on his gum to pop out a tooth. He has no interest in rolling over yet. If we ever put him down maybe he would get more practice. Cereal in every bottle and man was he eyeing the meat loaf tonight.

I try to add a post a day this week. I have a lot of pictures on my camera to catch up with.
