Our Whirlwind Weekend

It was a crazy busy weekend, but oh so much fun. I took Thursday and Friday off. It was a much needed break. A few hours of alone time recharges my battery like nothing else. That and 48 ounces of 7-11 coffee/capachino mix. I cleaned the spare room on Wednesday night so my sister would have someplace to lay her head. Thursday was the family dinner with a dozen stuffed artichokes, mmmm. I did get a nice blister on my hand from snipping the leaves. (reminds me of potato salad in the Poconos!) Dinner was great, awesome chocolate cake, that I HAD to have some of. I don't even want to see that damn scale tomorrow morning! Wedding on Friday, I didn't get to see much of the camera, so you'll get to see some very rare pictures. The ones with me in them! Commit them to memory, there won't be any more for a long time. The wedding was too much fun. Three glasses of wine with dinner, it was down hill from there. Saturday we spent hanging out recovering. Sunday was seeing Mom and Julie off and cleaning up! I hate to go back to the summer camp drama tomorrow. Enjoy our weekend fun.

The nearly empty closet. I did donate a huge garbage bag of clothes to a women's shelter. I figured clothes that I had before I met harry were out of date.

I found the bed and still went to bed before 2 am.

I need to donate some more clothes! The really scary part is that these are just the summer clothes!

What Was I Thinking?

We have a family wedding on Friday. Yippy I really love to get dressed up and go to a party. (I wasn't being sarcastic!)

We have family in from all over, Hawaii, Texas and Florida to name a few. So I said I would make dinner for my aunt and uncle. Well....that has now turned into dinner for 12!! I know it will be a ball, BUT I have so much to do! So stay turned for pictures from our fun weekend. I'll be the one int the apron or the one in the REALLY low cut dress. Losing weight is fun. You get to buy new clothes.

A Few Things

First, Conner turned 18 months old on Monday. Way too fast. I have three 8x10 pics of him at 10 months old. He doesn't even look like the same child. He went from straight hair to curls in a week. Thinking of another baby. Tick tock the clock is speeding up.

Second, I need a new printer. My very sweet 18 month old put a pen in the printer....Yeah not working so well. At least I think it was Conner. I sure hope it wasn't Harry.

Third,The new Harry Potter movie is the best one yet. YES, I quite enjoy Harry Potter. Thanks for the night out Krysten.

Fourth, (Brenda) I wore my new LTD Chix tshirt to camp today and dribbled cherry juice down the front. Nice!

Fifth, If parents want to bring their pet snake into my room they REALLY need to check it out in advance. Have I mentioned I am not a fan of snakes. What a day!

I hope everyone had a fun filled fourth! It turned out to be a nice day here. I like a day off in the middle of the week. Back to it tomorrow. Have a great week. saying hi to Beema on the Playstation remote.

Flights

We are visiting Harry's family in August. So off to Boston we go. Conner's first flight. Does anyone have any great ticket secrets. I have shecked specific airlines and checked travel sites. I just want to find a good deal. I hate to find a fligth and a week later see it for a ton less.

I would love any travel tips for little ones, too.
