Day 6

Day 6 of the camp saga is upon me. If I can only make it through, until Thursday! I took Friday off. I have a few fun things scheduled. A mani/pedi with Debbie, a little shopping, a Dr appointment. Looking forward to that. I love my Dr and am thrilled to have lost some weight. He makes a big fuss about weight loss.

Have a nice day, if I don't talk to you! I promise to post some weekend pics.

Wanna Work?

I'm tired, my feet hurt and we are taking 50 children on a field trip, tomorrow. Who wants to work for me? I used to love summer camp! I miss the sweet 4 and 5 year olds.

Summer camp

I survived the first day of summer camp. No big deal you say? Picture this....48 chidren, 4 adults and the thermometer at the bank read 103. The mile walk tot he pool usually takes a half an hour, it took more than an hour! I am pretty sure that there is a Ms. Bonnie puddle just past Coolidge. Lots of interesting little people, it won't be dull. I have to wear my Teva's today because I have a monster blister on my baby toe. New shoes all day was not a good choice. We are expecting storms today. So finding enough activities for an extra 3.5 hours will be exciting. How's your day?

Happy Father's Day, Happy Birthday John and welcome baby Ella

A busy weekend in our lives.
Happy Father's Day to all those dad's out there. A day I could live without. Good for Harry, though. He and Conner are napping right now and I am making barbeque ribs.

Happy birthday to my brother John, he turns 41 today.

Happy first anniversary to my beautiful niece Jameela and her husband Jeff.

Congratulations to Angie and Travis on the birth of their daughter Ella Aubrey. She was born on Friday. 6 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches. A little pip. Pictures as soon as I get up there to take them.

Friday was my last day of school! Summer camp starts on Monday! Of course it is supposed to be a balmy 97 here. Great!

Some pictures of the past two weeks...

Mega Blog

Life just keeps moving by at warp speed. The school year is almost over and Conner just turned 17 months old. Which reminds me he needs a check up . Some talk of baby number 2. I want to loose some excess baggage first. I am down a hair under 20 pounds since May 1st. Million more to go. Summer camp starts next week. Forced exercise. Walking and swimming every day. Katy and Phil are no officially engaged! Conner has his first ring kid gig. We are all excited. I went with Phil when he picked out the diamond. Man was it hard not telling....SHHH Krysten.
This sweet little guy was sitting on a chair on Mom's deck. I tried to get my Mom to kiss him. But she just wasn't haven't it.
Helping Beema water her flowers up North! Poor flowers didn't get much water.
Just not a morning person. He gets that from Mommy!
His new love. Thomas the Tank Engine. There has to be some sort of sublimanal messaging.
His other love, ball. Any kind of ball we have them in every room! Badmitten anyone?
