Thanksgiving

We had a nice Thanksgiving. We had been at Beema's for funeral early in the week, so we at least got to spend some time with her. We spent Thanksgiving day with the Flynn/Dzwigalski families. Always fun. We shopped early on Black Friday. I was amazed at how friendly everybody was. A shout out to Kohl's Department Store. Their staff was so helpful and nice and all in good humor.

We unpacked all the Christmas decorations on Sunday morning, but just didn't have enough ambition to start putting them up. That will give us something to do after work this week!

Sunday night we went to the D's. Debbie Krysten and I painted 60 snowman jars. They are very cute. The boys played and watched the monster truck marathon. At the end of the evening it began to snow. The first real snow we have had. It was beautiful. Conner didn't know what to think. No buildup to play in however. Back to work this week!

Here we go again

I noticed that Conner had a lot of icky drainage from his left ear. Off to the Doctor he went. His tube had come out, and he had an ear infection. The doctor gave him amoxacillian. Today, he had dried blood in is ear. Off to the Doctor we go again! The infection perforated his ear drum. To the E.N.T. next week.

His ped is afraid he may have some permanant hearing loss. His eardrum looked pretty beat up. He just had tubes put in in April, his checkup wasn't even supposed to be until January. So fun.

Halloween Fun

Halloween is always fun. We had our annual pumpkin carving evening eith the Dzw. family. We only had a small pumpkin-gut fight.

We had a costume change of plans. We were going to be the Frankenstein Family, but Conner hated his costume. When we tried it on him, he screamed. Oh well, we got out of dressing up. We saw his costume at Tj Maxx. He pulled it off the rack and carried it around the store. Sold.

Good friends and good memories.

Auntie Krysten before being splatted with pumpkin...Shhh Debbie wasn't looking.

Conner had a great time stabbing the pumpkin with the design pokers. The insides were another story.

Yes I even carved a Thomas pumpkin.

Hey Nancy- Have you seen this costume before?

Checking our his loot!
One tired tank engine.

A Harold the Helicopter sighting.
Grammy Pero came the morning after Halloween. We will have lots of pics from the weekend. She was loaded down with toys for the boy. His favorite was the John Deere digger. We left a lot packed for Christmas.Big Cousin time. Just a little hero worship.
